Built in 1913, the Inn was originally a male boarding house for the single male employees of the local aluminum smelting plant. In 1924, an individual could rent an inside room with a bath (an extra for the era) for the amazing rate of $39.00 per month. A few years later, it was the place for social events in the area and even hosted guests to the likes of Mae West & W.C. Fields who would entertain townsfolk at the local Opera House.
Remodeled in 2005, the Inn has all the amenities of a modern hotel. The rooms & suites feature Wi-Fi, cable TV, mini fridges, microwaves, coffee makers, and ironing boards. Each room is furnished with quaint antiques and has a unique individual feel.
